Airstrip

What's the story behind the airstrip at Santa Venitia?

That's not Santa Venetia. It's across the creek at Smith Ranch Road, or what used to be called Smith Ranch. If my brain still works, the official name is Gnoss Field. It's actually quite old and has a history dating back to very early flying. Try searching for Gnoss Field.
Also, the Santa Venetia people are upset with the current management of what used to be the airport ... there has been a great deal of unregulated and illegal development going on across the creek, about which they are not at all happy.
I never heard upper and lower Scabo - just Scabo in general, covering the entire area. But I'm old, not hip to the jive 210.22.142.82 (talk) 13:52, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
