Hi. I just reposted info for the Euroclearability definition. I hope it helps. I presume I recheck this thread to see a response as it's all public...?

Request on 10:12:43, 30 December 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by NemackiKutak

Hi Matthew,

I'm writing you since you are the reviewer of the articles I wrote. I'm not sure if I understand your feedback completely. What should I change to comply with policies? The Wikipedia page about Why But Why blog ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wait_But_Why ) was used as a reference.

Thanks for your time & feedback.

This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Your draft article, Draft:AVS Video Converter

Hello, MatthewVanitas. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "AVS Video Converter".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Zupotachyon Ping me (talkcontribs) 18:58, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Sukuma calendar and Draft:Sukuma calendar (2)

Dear MatthewVanitas,

I agree, there could be issues to resolve before resubmitting the draft. There could be many more sources coming about the Sukuma calendar, I agree too. I think, we should still improve the article as time goes. I am reviewing the draft still but would also appreciate some help.

Thank you (Nghwaya (talk) 13:20, 1 January 2017 (UTC)).[reply]

Dear MatthewVanitas,

I have gone half way to comment out the grapjics. I can't be sure if this is the real reason for the demanded improvement. I'll be ready to improve or remove the graphics completely. Just say a word. I don't want to waste more time.

Thank you (Nghwaya (talk) 15:24, 1 January 2017 (UTC)).[reply]

@Nghwaya:, you have two issues to address:
  • @MatthewVanitas:, Draft:Sukuma calendar (2) has been blanked.
  • @MatthewVanitas:, ancient writing is not an issue in ancient tracking of time or ancient calendrical computation. If a justified issue of ancient counting had arisen, then a point could have been struck. If the ancient Sukuma prove to have kept a the "isolo" game of counting pebbles then the Draft:Sukuma calendar will survive any danger of deletion as of now.
  • @MatthewVanitas:, a need to preempt barren issues does not arise yet.

Review

Hi Matthew,

Thank you reviewing the page I created, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraser_Murdoch The sources I used for references are official newspapers, as far I can tell correctly cited via the template. I don't understand why people keep placing the banner that de sources are unclear, they are not. Is there something else I should do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zonneroos (talkcontribs) 14:26, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Zonneroos:, the reason people are adding "more footnotes" to the article is that while it has references (i.e. it has a list of sources at the bottom) it does not have any footnotes (specific numbered clickable blue links showing which source belongs to which fact). For how to create automatic footnotes, see WP:Referencing for beginners. MatthewVanitas (talk) 23:21, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Wuhan Textile University requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — JJMC89(T·C) 03:25, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
