Peshwa Bajirao is an Indian Hindi historical period drama television series, which premiered on 23 January 2017[clarification needed] and is being broadcast on Sony TV. The series is based on Maratha Peshwa Bajirao I, who ruled under Chhatrapati Shahu.[1] The series has been produced by Sphere Origins of Sunjoy Waddhwa and creatively produced by Nilanjana Purkayasstha's company Invictus T Mediaworks.[2] The series will be aired on weekdays.[3]

Isha Koppikar is also reported to be playing a role in the series.[3]
