Template:POTD texttitle
Greetings, {{POTD texttitle}} is currently full protected. Is it safe to have template protection there instead? Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 19:33, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
- Same question for Template:Pic of the day as well. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 21:23, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
- Personally, I'd rather have anything related to the main page under full protection. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 02:02, 8 April 2017 (UTC)
A favor, please
Could you retouch File:HarryLewis_Harvard_InMeeting_2002.jpg a bit (creating a new file File:HarryLewis_Harvard_InMeeting_2002 retouched.jpg)? What I'm hoping is you can soften the lamp in the back and maybe the tablet in the foreground, plus any other adjustment you think appropriate. Nothing fancy, just whatever you can bang out. I'd really like this in the next few days, if you're willing to do it. Thanks! EEng 23:17, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
- By soften, do you mean to blur the edges? I could do that, but it wouldn't look natural. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 01:44, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, missed your reply earlier. No, I mean just tone down the lamp so it's not this huge white thing behind him, and (as I said) also maybe do something similar to the tablet held by the disembodied hands in the foreground. Thanks!
- Since I've got you, if it hasn't happened already could you take care of this [1]? EEng 08:42, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

Hey, just wanted to let you know that image was used as an album cover for The Best of The Doors in 1985. Best, Seattle (talk) 02:45, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
