- Le Château de Ravignan
The castle of Ravignan, is an elegant Louis XIII style residence, nestled in the very heart of the commune of Perquie in France, surrounded by a beautiful French park. The imposing structure is enveloped by formal gardens and woodlands. The present establishment was constructed on the ruins of a medieval castle in 1663. It has been designated as a 'monument historique' by the esteemed French Ministry of Culture. The highlight of this place is the cellars, which is known to produce the finest Armagnac brandy. Inside the building is listed on the Historical Monuments, furniture and antique objects, costumes of the eighteenth century, as well as an important collection of drawings and engravings representing Henry IV, are all attractions to discover. Producer of Armagnac for more than three centuries, it is quite naturally that the domain of Ravignan offers a guided tour of its cellars, evoking the history and manufacture of the famous eau-de-vie!
