Campbellsville University (formerly Campbellsville College) is a small, private Christian university located in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Founded in 1906 as a Baptist institution, Campbellsville currently enrolls over 2,000 students and is open to students of all denominations. The university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in a variety of fields. Extracurricular activities, many of which are focused around community service and Christian life, complement the academic programs.
The university sponsors 18 varsity athletic teams which compete in the Mid-South Conference of the NAIA. The university's athletic mascot is the tiger.
CU was founded by Rev. Lloyd Caswell Kelly in 1906. The current president of the university is Dr. Michael V. Carter.
