List of Legislative Accomplishments

The information is relevent, so it ought to stay, but it reads like it was taken from campaingn literature, so its tone is not appropiate for Wikipedia. The original author or someone else familiar with Michigan politics ought to edit and cite the relevant bills/laws. (I wish I could, but I've been out of the state for so long that I don't know what these refer to). Petropetro (talk) 05:41, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Career

District 1 is the same District his father, Coleman A. Young, served as state senator for 6.5 years.

According to the wiki page on Coleman Young, he was the senator from michigan's 4th district not first. However I cannot find a source for what district he was in beyond the wiki page. Per http://www.mcgi.state.mi.us/districtlocator/ they are not the same.
