Anzhelika Rublevska Tahir is a Pakistani-Ukrainian model and actress. She was the winner of Miss Pakistan World 2015[3] and was sent to Miss Earth 2016 to represent Pakistan.[4][5] Recently, she entered the Pakistani film industry.[6]
Early life
Anzhelika Tahir was born in Kiev, Ukraine to a Pakistani father and a Ukrainian mother. Her father was from Sheikupura,[7] in Punjab, Pakistan .[8] She is the first Pakistani of mixed decent to win the title of Miss Pakistan World.[9] She grew up in Ukraine. After graduating from the Lyceum, she began studies Fashion design at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design[10].
Pageant Success
Tahir won Miss Pakistan World 2015 on 31 October 2015 in Toronto, Canada. She also won Miss Perfect and Miss Popularity. She then went to compete in World Miss University and won second runner up. She went to Korea to compete in Miss Supertalent 2016[11] and won second runner up again. Tahir then competed in Miss Earth 2016[12] 2016 and won gold medal[7] for the talent round.
Lollywood
Anzhelika Tahir was in a Lollywood[13][14] movie, Na Band Na Baraati, which starred Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ali Kazmi and Qavi Khan. This was her first movie[15] in Pakistan's film industry[16] and she is signed on for her next film to be shot in Dubai.
