Chaudhry Bahadin Gondal

This particular area was uninhabited until Chaudhry Bahaduin a Gondal of the Jat tribe established a trading post. He brought with himself a 'Khatri' of the trding caste and established a Mandi 'trading post' here which became popular and eventually established into the present town. This information was recorded in the census report carried out by the Pakistani government in the 1990's.
