Margaret is a Polish singer-songwriter. She rose to prominence after the release of her debut single, "Thank You Very Much" (2013), which charted in the top fifty in Austria, Germany and Italy, and was the third best-selling digital single of 2013 in Poland released by a Polish artist.[1] The song was later included on singer's first EP All I Need, which was released in July 2013 and peaked at number fifty in Poland.

Her debut studio album, Add the Blonde, released in 2014, reached number eight on the Polish charts and was certified platinum by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (ZPAV). It produced three singles, "Wasted" (2014), "Start a Fire" (2014) and "Heartbeat" (2015), released exclusively in the Polish market. "Wasted" was later also released in Scandinavia. It as well as "Start a Fire" reached the top ten of the Polish Airplay Chart, whilst "Heartbeat" charted within the top twenty. Margaret's second studio album, Just the Two of Us (2015), recorded in a collaboration with Matt Dusk, consisted of jazz standards.[2] The album reached the top thirty on the Polish albums chart, and was certified platinum by ZPAV. Just the Two of Us was promoted by two singles, the title track and the song "'Deed I Do". In 2016, Margaret reissued her debut album, which spawned two singles: "Cool Me Down" and "Elephant". The former became Margaret's first top five single in Poland, and also charted in the top forty in Romania and Sweden. Moreover, it was certified double platinum in Poland and gold in Sweden. "Elephant" peaked at number twenty-one in Poland. In 2017, Margaret released her third studio album, Monkey Business, which peaked at number eight on the Polish Albums Chart. Its release was preceded by two singles: "Blue Vibes"[A] and "What You Do", which reached the top twenty in Poland.

Aside from her solo work, Margaret featured on the single "Let It Snow!" from Old School Yule! by Matt Dusk (2016). She also appeared on two charity albums, Siemacha po kolędzie (2014) and Gwiazdy po kolędzie (2015), and provided vocals for a non-album single "6 in the Morning" (2017) by the Swedish music group Vax. Margaret also released few non-album promotional singles, including "O mnie się nie martw" ("Don't You Worry About Me"; 2014), a theme song for the Polish TV series of the same name,[3] "Smak radości"[B] ("The Taste of Happiness"; 2015), and "Coraz bliżej święta" ("Christmas Is Getting Closer"; 2015). The last two songs were recorded as a part of the Polish Coca-Cola promotional campaign in which Margaret took part.[4][5] "Coraz bliżej święta" peaked at number thirty-two in Poland.
