Disambiguation link notification for August 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ottoman Empire, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Ghazi and Beylik. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Turkey. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Étienne Dolet (talk) 20:17, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#WP:BATTLEFIELD threats and constant edit-warring at Turkey. You can respond if you wish. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 20:58, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

[edit]Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Turkey. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Saying that you "can't help but wish for the complete economic collapse and starvation of Greece" because of two (named) Greek Wikipedia editors is inappropriate. McGeddon (talk) 14:54, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
- The "starvation" part was a bit too harsh, I must admit. But it's still not as harsh as Greeks and Armenians wishing a Yugoslavia style bloody civil war in Turkey and trying to add some extra fuel on fire for it to become true. Heimdallr of Æsir (talk) 16:59, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
- Please stop with the personal attacks and bad faith remarks. Such remarks of bad faith should not be made towards any user in this project. Especially when no such user has said anything near that. This is battleground language that's never tolerated. Étienne Dolet (talk) 17:22, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
