Anna Zak (Template:Lang-he; born March 12, 2001) is a Russian-born Israeli[1] social media star, singer and model, with over 2 million followers on musical.ly and hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram, becoming famous on social media both in Israel and internationally.[2]
She is regarded as one of the most influential Israelis on the internet.[3] She was ranked by Nana 10 as number 1 on the list of Israeli youth influencing Instagram in 2017.[4] As of 2017, she ranks as the number 1 most influential Israeli Instagrammer, ahead of Bar Refaeli, according to the Israeli Internet Association.[5] She works as a host of Music 24's show 'To be a singer'.[6]
Biography
Anna Kuzankov was born in Sochi, Russia. She made aliyah to Israel at age 9,[7] together with her mother, father, sister and grandparents.[8] The family settled in Ashdod, and in a short time, she was speaking Hebrew like a Sabra.[9][10] Her parents later separated, and her father left the family,[11] while her older sister is a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces. Zak studies at the "Mekif Hey School", in Ashdod.[12]
She began her career on Israeli children's television.[13] In 2016, she was chosen to be the face of Scoop shoes, earning a NIS 50,000 contract at the age of 15,[14] considered to be a large sum for her age.[15] She has also led a global campaign for hair removal brand Veet.[16] She says that at her highschool, some of her teachers do not know about her social media career.[17] While still in ninth grade, her monthly income from her social media profile was at least NIS 10,000 excluding her sponsorship deals.[18]
Her large income at her age has raised eyebrows, but she told Israel Channel 2 that her career is being supported by her family.[19]
In 2017, she became the host of Music 24's show 'To be a singer'.[20] She also collaborates on social media with model Neta Alchimister.[21][22]
In 2017, she became the most influential person on Israeli Instagram, according to the Israeli Internet Association, ahead of Bar Refaeli.[23] She was also ranked by Nana 10 as the most influential Israeli youth influencing Instagram in 2017.[24]
In June 2017, she was chosen to be the face of Office Depot's back to school campaign in Israel.[25]

She has been chosen by Simon Fuller's new project international project to be part of an international band (with representatives representing China, India, Russia, Japan, UK, US, France and Germany), where she has been selected to work as a representative of Russia.[26][27] It was later announced that she was chosen to head the project as a representative of Russia, which will mean regular flights from Israel to Los Angeles, which she will try to juggle with her high school studies.[28]
