EPRO (disambiguation)
Hello, my friend. I guess I'm a little rusty, but why is EPRO (disambiguation) needed if nothing links to it and nobody will search for it? Best wishes, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:21, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Anna Frodesiak: WP:INTDABLINKS explains. There are links to EPRO (disambiguation) from other disambiguation pages where the convention is used to mark them as intentional links. older ≠ wiser 12:04, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- Ah, okay. Thank you kindly. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:57, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
- And I am sorry. I should have dug into it and found out myself. I've been so busy off-wiki I just dumped it into your lap. My humblest apologies. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:26, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
Please re-insert my Bobo art collective entry...
Bobo the art / music collective have been around for 10 years and deserve an entry on this page. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drewgillespie11233 (talk • contribs) 01:54, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
You deleted the "Silicon Mountain Disambiguation page"
Why did you delete the Silicon Mountain Disambiguation page I was working on? As you can see, the page / article was under development (just newly created and pending content which was coming), why didn't you create a thread on the talk page then I give you my reason for creating the page rather than just delete, it's not fair. You would have asked me first before going ahead to delete if at all you are supposed to. --Alangi Derick (talk) 12:37, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Alangi Derick: There was no indication that anything was forthcoming. On the face of it, there was nothing being disambiguated by that page. If there are in fact existing Wikipedia articles on other topics that are ambiguous with the term, please feel free to recreate the page, but familiarize yourself with the guidelines WP:DAB and WP:MOSDAB on what is appropriate content for a disambiguation page and instructions for structuring and formatting. older ≠ wiser 12:59, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
- Bkonrad, Thank you! --Alangi Derick (talk) 13:03, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
The article Acme, Michigan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
fails WP:NGEOLAND
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Aunva6talk - contribs 00:28, 20 November 2017 (UTC)

Changing dab page
By this edit you made the James H. Lane (general) dab page a redirect to the more general James Lane. This, however, was not an incomplete disambiguation. The unusual circumstance about James H. Lane (general) is that there were two different Civil War generals with the same name and even the same middle name. Anyone who lands on that page is looking for one of those generals, not to any of a whole bunch of other James Lanes with different middle names and different vocations. Obviously the generals should both be listed on James Lane, as they are, but the more specific dab page should be retained to make the readers' lives easier. JamesMLane t c 15:28, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- It is incomplete disambiguation. In a sense it is doubly-incomplete disambiguation. Both James H. Lane and James H. Lane (general) are ambiguous and redirect to the base disambiguation page at James Lane. I don't think there are so many James Lane's as to make the it unusually difficult for readers to find the correct general. By your reasoning, we should also have a separate disambiguation page at James Henry Lane, since there are no others with the middle name Henry on the main disambiguation page. older ≠ wiser 15:44, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
No such place
There is no such place as Southern Ireland. It is the Republic of Ireland. An independant country. We do not call it Southern Ireland.
