Jasdeep Singh Gill, better known as Jassie Gill, is a singer and actor of Punjabi origin.
Early life
Jasdeep Singh or Jassie Gill was born in Punjab.he Belongs to Jatt Sikh Family . He was trained to sing in local youth festivals.[1]
Music career
Gill made his debut in 2011 with the album Batchmate which became an instant success with the hit song "Chudiyan". In 2012 he followed up this up by releasing the single "Vigre Sharabi:. In January 2013 he released his second album Batchmate 2, which became an even bigger hit than the previous album, and included the song "Lancer" with lyrics by Narinder Batth. He followed this up with the hit song "Classmate"[2] that featured in the movie Daddy Cool Munde Fool.[3] In September 2013 he came out with another single, "Pyar Mera".[4] After the successful release of his album Replay, he released the single "Nakhre" in 2017.[5]
Film career
Jassie Gill made his acting debut on the big screen in Mr & Mrs 420.[6] He followed this up with Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. He paired up with Roshan Prince and Simran Kaur Mundi in the romantic comedy Mundeyan Ton Bachke Rahin.[7]
Jassie Gill signed to make a film with Gauhar Khan in February 2018,[8] titled Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya, which marked his debut in Punjabi film. He also committed to star in Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi alongside Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty and Jimmy Shergill; this will be his first Bollywood film. It is scheduled to release on 24 August, 2018.[9][10]
