Mazhabi Vandalism

[edit]

Someone keeps vandalizing the page by referring to Jassi Gill as Mazhabi. See Jassi Gill's own interview at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Pbl2rdsqe4eone at 18:45 mark where he refers to himself as coming from Jatt Sikh family. Gill is also a Jatt Sikh surname and Jassi Gill says he is a Jatt. What evidence does this vandal have that he comes from a Mazhabi family? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rellimmij (talkcontribs) 00:15, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you. My edits have been reverted when i corrected that. Let us make sure that we don't let that unsourced and unrequired content remain on Wikipedia as it is not good for a user generated encyclopedia.--Satdeep Gill (talkcontribs 18:27, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Satdeep, i am also strongly opposed to this change, i am trying to arrange for proof for reference. Also i looked up on your wikipedia user page and read about Punjabi wikipedia and related stuff, i think i might be interested in that, so let me know what will be a good medium to talk to you. I'd love to connect. Thanks.

Jassi gill belongs to 'Jatt Sikh' family not from Mazhabi. Sukhu bhatti (talk) 08:59, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Jannik Schwaß (talk) 12:48, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
