NeoTango should not be linked to Nuevo Tango or Tango Nuevo.

NeoTango is a genre unto its own.

Nuevo Tango is an English misnomer it should be called "Tango Nuevo"

This "article" is quite confusing, as it repeatedly says what Neotango is not, but not much about what it is, then states it only concerns the music recorded in last 30-40 years ("last" as since which date?) and goes on to negate itself in a weird list which includes some genres, a language, a composer, and "soundtracks" (as if that was a style of music). It would be probably best if current text was just deleted and the article rewritten by somewhat who knows what neotango actually is (if there is a certain concept, not just a buzzword used for whatever comes to mind) and also understands what an encyclopedia article is. --82.131.109.135 (talk) 21:55, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree. I just copyedited the whole mess, or tried to, and realized as I went along that there wasn't much encyclopedic content there worth salvaging. 128.110.85.104 (talk) 02:09, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"adding danceable rhythm" is rather misleading as people are dancing to the rhythm of the traditional tango for a century now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.28.76.172 (talk) 22:37, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite of the Music section

I rewrote the Music section of this article which was messy and inaccurate (as others have pointed out). It is just a first quick draft just to remove the main inaccuracies and contradictions. The whole article could be improved and deserves a more thorough research into the growing neotango scene. Comments are welcome! --Viybel (talk) 21:52, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
