Adrian L. Miller (born 1970, Saint Louis, Missouri) is an American Music Entertainment Executive and Artist Manager. His credits range from label promoter, artist, songwriter, A&R, talent scout to artist manager.

Early Life

Adrian Miller was born in Saint Louis Missouri, United States in 1970 but moved to Los Angeles in 1975 where he has remained until the present day.

Career

Miller began his music career as an on-air radio host at KBLK in Tulsa, Oklahoma while attending Tulsa University.

He was credited with co-writing songs such as “Ours” for Sugar Ray, “Pistol Grip Pump” by Rage Against the Machine and “She Lives in my Lap” by Outkast.

Miller started out doing promotions for PMP (Paul Stewart), moving on to HITS Magazine, then LOUD (Steve Rifkind Company). While with Immortal Entertainment he was A&R/EP for "Volume 10" by Funkdoobiest and would be a factor in the Korn and Incubus signings.

From 1993-1996 Miller worked at Warner Music Group as VP of A&R under the senior management of Benny Medina, Kerry Gordy, Michael Ostin, Lenny Warnoker, and Mo Ostin. This was the era for the artist.  He commissioned the only remixes of note sanctioned by Seal and Prince. He signed his own artist deal (Dan Charnas, A&R) with Rick Rubin’s Ill/American and introduced artists across the Warner family: Young Americans to Quincy Jones, Coolio to Tommy Boy, Pharcyde to Delicious Vinyl.

Soon after his departure from Warner Music Group he went on to pursue entrepreneurial endeavours and serve as a consultant/personal manager to several clients: DJ Rectangle, DJ AM, Spinderella, Sway & King Tech, Hopsin, Anthony Mosley (world class skater), Flo Rida, Demetrius Shipp Jr. (who starred as Tupac in 2017 bio-pic "All Eyez On Me"), Mereba (Interscope Records), Alice Smith, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals. He started Xyion Inc. to forge artist incubators, and a Caribbean music company Delicious Vinyl Island. [1]

Currently, he runs OBE (artists include Anderson .Paak, NxWorries, The Free Nationals, Kadhja Bonet), a label with his client and business partner Anderson .Paak.[2]

Personal Life

Miller currently lives in Southern California.
