Eidi or Eidia is a gift that is usually given to Youngers by elder relatives and family friends as part of the celebration of the two Muslim holidays, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
Eidia is similar to receiving a gift for a birthday and the most common type of Eidia is giving money to Youngers.[1][2][3]
It should be given to-
1) children by the other elders of the family;
2) wives by their husbands;
3) elder sister by their brothers; or
4) mothers/mothers in law by their sons.
5) friends by their friends
6) sisters to all family members
7) Gift by Aysha to Anand
