Bhuvan Bam is an Indian comedian, singer, and YouTube personality from Delhi, India. He is known for his YouTube comedy channel BB Ki Vines and work in The Bachelors of The Viral Fever & in Happi Fi's Bro Court. His first song Teri Meri Kahani was released via The Viral Fever. Bam has been a speaker at TEDxIIITD at IIIT Delhi and TEDxJUIT at Jaypee University of Information Technology in 2016.[2][3] He released his another single Sang Hoon Tere on his YouTube channel, on 13 January 2018. The song is not so good and seems like it is auto-tuned a lot!

Early life and education

Bhuvan Bam started his career as a musician performing in restaurants. He later started composing his own songs. He did his schooling from Green Fields School, New Delhi and earned a bachelor's degree from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.[4]

Internet career

He started his Internet career with sarcastic video of a news reporter who asked a woman insensitive questions regarding the death of her son due to the Kashmir floods, which got about 15,000 views on Facebook. His first video "I'm feeling horny" went viral in Pakistan, inspiring Bam to create his own YouTube channel on 21 June 2015.[5]

BB Ki Vines

BB Ki vines is a YouTube channel whose 2-8 minutes long videos humorously depict the life of an urban teenager.[6] Bam's YouTube channel, BB Ki Vines, has 7.9 million subscribers and over 1 billion views (as of 31 May 2018). Bam's videos for his YouTube channel BB Ki Vines are filmed using the front facing camera on a phone by himself. He originally uploaded his videos to Facebook, and then to Youtube.[7].

Awards

Bhuvan Bam won the award for the Most Popular Channel on Youtube at the WebTVAsia Awards 2016 held in Seoul, South Korea.[8][9]

He was felicitated by the Hindustan Times at the first edition of their Game Changer Awards.[10] Recently India won the YouTube Creator Summit golf competition of 2017 in which the main contributors were BB Ki Vines and Technical Guruji.[11]
