Tile wisdom (tegeltjeswijsheid) is a traditional Dutch decorative tile that has a cliche proverb, aphorism or quote on it. Usually these tiles are made in the Delftware style. These tiles are usually not stuck to a kitchen or bathroom wall but rather hung like a painting or photograph.
