Timberline Secondary is a public high school in Campbell River, British Columbia part of School District 72 Campbell River.
Timberline opened in 1997 as the second of two public high schools in the city of Campbell River. The school gets its name, in part, from the fact it was built to blend in with the surrounding forest. (Which has recently been cut down). It shares residence with the Campbell River campus of North Island College, which is off limits to the high school section.
Timberline has a strong athletic program. It has won provincial team championships in boys' soccer and girls' volleyball. Individually, Timberline has had three provincial wrestling champions: Ashley Osachuk (2012, 2013), Bret Nelson (2014) and CJ Foy (2015, 2016). Osachuk was named the outstanding wrestler at the 2012 provincial wrestling championships. Osachuk and Nelson have both gone on to accept wrestling scholarships at Simon Fraser University (NCAA Division II). Foy has accepted a scholarship to the University of Calgary (CIS). Other outstanding alumni include: Riley O'Neill (NCAA Division I - University of Kentucky - Soccer), Corvo, Ozmoz, Uzzi and NT.
The school is the shared home with Carihi Secondary to members of Youth 4 Diversity, who were awarded the 2008 British Columbia Nesika Award[1]
Student Success Plan
Annually, under the guidance of the principal, each school teaching staff collaboratively reflects on the learning that is taking place within their school. Staff considers and identifies any common threads or themes of success and needed improvement, and does nothing about it.
Flex Time
A failed opportunity for students to make choices about their learning, and now earn credits due to the fact no one attends it.

Of course, you the have the right to leave Timberline property as you please and enhance your education elsewhere. Just kidding, leaving school property will follow up with a phone call or email straight to your parent or guardian.
