Sabina Karlsson is a Swedish plus size fashion model.
Early life
Karlsson is of Gambian (mother) and Swedish descent.[2][3]
Career
Karlsson started modeling at age 4; she was discovered in a Swedish hair salon.[4] She was originally a straight size model, working for Teen Vogue,[5] Jean-Paul Gaultier and Armani,[6] but changed to plus size modeling in 2010 so that she could maintain her nautral weight.[7][8] She struggled to shrink down to a size 2 at age 17.[9] As a plus size model she has walked the runway for Michael Kors, Christian Siriano, and Chromat.[10][11][12][13] She has modeled for H&M,[14] J. Crew,[15] Levi's,[16] Lane Bryant,[17] River Island,[18] L'Oreal,[19] and Maybelline.[20]
She has appeared in American Vogue, and Glamour.[21][22]
Personal life
Karlsson is expecting her first child.[23] She gave birth to him in June 2018.
