Extinct

I was informed by one of my buddies their is an extinct type of Spoonbill called the "Scheu's Spoonbill", It looked like a Roseate Spoonbill, And It apparently lived In the New York Harbor That went extinct due to over hunting Giovanni da Verrazzano I don't know if it is real or fake, can someone help me.

My favorite

My favorite bird is a Roseate Spoonbill. I even have a feather of one!!!
