About the "new deal" with Turner

The part that says 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have signed a deal to release pre-1986 MGM films and pre-1952 UA films needs a source from whoever wrote that because I'm not sure that's even true. I have tried searching for this bit of news elsewhere on the internet and I cannot find anything. So whoever put that bit in, please tell me where you got that information from.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. SparklingPessimist Scream at me! 09:37, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please add "Olive Films" and "TGG Direct" on the list in the "Licensors" section? 31.210.91.73 (talk) 07:52, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:22, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
190.206.168.158 (talk) 05:15, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Partly done: Neither licensor currently has their own article but the second at least appears notable based on the 'Philadelphia Inquirer' reference. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 20:36, 14 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
165.76.145.156 (talk) 04:58, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Added references only demonstrate bare existence, not notability, or Olive Films. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 13:22, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But this is all I can find, and the titles that the articles listed are MGM-owned titles that are licensed to Olive for DVD/Blu-ray release. The comments on two of the Blu-ray.com articles here mentioned MGM. 154.68.5.60 (talk) 00:59, 18 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Bump (You're supposed to add this company back with one of these references. If you don't believe me, then just RECREATE the Olive Films article, for Christ sakes.) 149.167.40.161 (talk) 19:23, 18 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Just because Disney is buying Fox and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will distribute Operation Finale and Bond 25 and maybe a few other new MGM films on home media doesn't mean that Universal will replace Fox as the overall home entertainment distributor of MGM's library and select new releases. MGM also has other partners that they co-produced some films with like Warner Bros., Sony and Paramount handle physical home entertainment distribution of not only the co-produced films, but also a couple of MGM's 2018 films self-distributed in the US, for example, Warner Home Video distributed the Orion release Every Day on home media and will probably distribute Creed II on home media worldwide next year as well, but if the Disney/Fox merger closes and the Fox/MGM deal ends in 2020, then it's possible that Fox's distribution will shift to other companies other than Universal, most likely WB since they own MGM's actual pre-1986 library and was also previously MGM's overall home entertainment distributor during the 90s. 41.57.217.11 (talk) 03:35, 28 October 2018 (UTC) 41.57.217.11 (talk) 03:35, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
