Hi,

the below mentioned link - http://bhubaneswar.darshanacademy.org/aboutus.aspx is my website only. which is subdomain of offical website mentioned - darshanacademy.org

Please guide. — Preceding unsigned comment added by President DEF (talkcontribs) 05:16, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@President DEF: You are copying and pasting articles from another website. You say it is your website - are you affiliated with the school? If you are the general rule is you're not supposed to start articles on a non-arms length entity. There is also a process you need to go through to inform wikipedia of that there is consent to use the content GLG GLG (talk) 05:40, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined

[edit]

I declined your speedy deletion of Promoted (Film) as an A10- Promoted is about sports leagues, and Promoted (Film) is about a film, they aren't about the same thing, so A10 does not apply. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:16, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph2302 that's really weird. The promoted you linked to go to a re-direct for promotion and relegation. but yesterday when i looked at it there were two pages about the same movie. one under promoted (film) and the under promoted. i don't know what happened. GLG GLG (talk) 01:16, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the Promoted revision history, they had converted the Promoted redirect into an article about the film, which was reverted. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:59, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Joseph2302 oh, ok. in any event i must have tagged the article for deletion before that. b/c when i did it i certainly wasn't suggesting that the article on promotion and relegation be deleted or that it and the film article were the same. GLG GLG (talk) 18:12, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re:San Giacomo Scossacavalli

[edit]

Hallo GLG GLG, thanks! I am really glad that someone already read it. Now I only hope that someone will copyedit it, since my english is washed in Tiber's water. :-) Cheers, Alex2006 (talk) 05:11, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Alex2006 it looks like you're still working on the article. If you want, when you're done, I can copy edit it some more. I made some minor changes already. There were some things about it the language/phrasing that I thought about changing but didn't want to seem impolite. I don't mind going through it more when you're done, as long as that's okay with you. GLG GLG (talk) 05:20, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot! the article is more or less ok now. If in the next days you will have time and lust :-) your copyediting will be most welcome (and if in doing it, some factual imprecisions will be introduced, I can always correct it: that's how wikipedia works :-))! Thanks Alex2006 (talk) 07:44, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi, Why did you have revert my edit on the Montreal Canadians? Newsy Lalonde has 266 goals, 62 assists and 328 pts for the Habs. Explain that to me please. Thanks. --Danielvis08 (talk) 15:31, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Danielvis08 I already restored it. GLG GLG (talk) 15:32, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi GLG GLG,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
