On the November 19, 2018 airing of the NBC television competition series The Voice every artist dedicated their performance to someone. The competitor Chris Kroeze, 27-year-old from Barron, Wisconsin dedicated his performance to Jayme Closs and the Barron County community. He sang The Beatles song Let It Be and the show shared a photo of the missing Closs. Prior to the shows airing, Kroeze had sung at a vigil for the missing teenager.[5][6]
