As far as notability goes, he's directed four films, at least two of which received major press recognition (Reefer Madness and She's the Man), and at least one of which did extremely well at the box office (the latter). Andy Fickman went to Robert E. Lee High School in Houston, Texas

The citation for Andy Fickman having gone to Midland Lee High School on this wiki is not to an original source but to a stub from the original article on the Midland Reporter Telegram archive[1]. The full article would have shown that he was born in Midland but moved to Houston before high school. The Houston Lee High School alumni website [2] lists him as a 2012 inductee into their hall of fame and the Jewish World Herald has an article with this same info and also states that he lived in Midland for a few years before the whole family moved to Houston in 1976.
