N. Trance is a character in the Crash Bandicoot series. His name is a play on the word "entrance," meaning "to put into a trance." This is evidenced by the fact that he hypnotizes other characters into joining him.
Overview
N. Trance is a being of the 5th Dimension. He is a master of hypnosis, and a friend of N. Tropy. In Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, Tropy enlisted him to brainwash the Bandicoots and use them as slaves. Crash managed to get to Trance and N. Tropy, and N. Trance was later defeated by the hero.
He later entered Velo's Galaxy Circuit in Crash Nitro Kart, with Polar, Pura, and Dingodile under his control. He has not been seen since.
He was originally to appear in Crash Twinsanity according to concept art, but this decision was apparently dropped.
