- Would someone please redraw the above 1869-1906 Mauritian flag as SVG (the motto on the scroll beneath the arms is supposed to read "STELLA CLAVISQUE MARIS INDICI" in case it's not clear enough). And, if possible, could an SVG version of the 1869-1906 flag used by the Governor of Mauritius (as seen here), be created as well, which could be done by placing the arms from the other flag within the centre of the blank British Governor's flag provided above. - Would someone please create an SVG file of the 1914-1961 flag of Sierra Leone (as seen here) using the blank Blue Ensign provided above, and also an SVG file of the flag used by the Governor of Sierra Leone during the same period (as seen here), using the blank British Governor's flag provided above. @Serial Number 54129: I can help you but you will have to provide me with a source, can't see anything on your link and the image is not accurate enough to work from, thanks. Please ping me. --Goran tek-en (talk) 13:56, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Goran tek-en: That's great news, many thanks! Can I email it you, or do you have another way of sharing images? ——SerialNumber54129 14:11, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Serial Number 54129: You can email me or any other way you have access to. I will also need a link or other way to show the source. Also if it has any license on it, free or not. --Goran tek-en (talk) 15:25, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

- @Goran tek-en: Yes, that's the one, although for my purposes the solid line for all walls will suffice. Do you think the other buildings would be possible too, or is that double the work? ——SerialNumber54129 17:43, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Serial Number 54129: The style of the lines we can decide later on, is it the Great House you mean? --Goran tek-en (talk) 17:54, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- You see the buildings to the south on the image you link to above? Them. If you reply to my email, I can attach the complete pic. The WP:EMAIL facility doesn't allow for attachments. In any case, if you want to just stick with the church building itself, it'd still be cool. ——SerialNumber54129 18:13, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

- @Goran tek-en: It's brilliant. Absolutely great. Just a couple of things, if it's OK. It doesn't face precisely east-west, it's more ESE. Here's an overlay (v rushed job on OSM, but still) which shows how your image fits snugly onto the real thing. It's incredibly accurate! Do you think you could put the nun's grave in, centred? I just stuck a red dot on :) also, do you thikn you could do the dotted lines as well? (in orange, but no need to dash them)—you see, that shows the cloister fitting in between the big house and the road. Is this possible? Sorry to ask for more, what you've aleady done is brilliant though! ——SerialNumber54129 18:33, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
::@Serial Number 54129: You should have told me it could be fond on OSM, send me the link and I will use that as it's probably more accurate than that old drawing. It's not a problem to add more or change anything. You know what is important so just tell me, send the link. --Goran tek-en (talk) 19:34, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Serial Number 54129: Sorry for above, I found it now and there is nothing.
- New draft for you. I don't know if that icon for the grave is appropriate, if not just tell me and I will change. The lines you are talking about, I can see them but some or passing thru the chapel so tell me exactly which. Do you want the road as well? --Goran tek-en (talk) 20:15, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

- Since non-free media is not supposed to be of a high resolution anyways, you might as well upload a scaled-down version of the original JPG. I don't believe that an improved SVG is desirable here. TilmannR (talk) 22:01, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Per TilmannR, consider uploading this PNG (scaled down) until an official SVG is released by Tokyo 2020. Pbroks13 (talk) 22:18, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- We can just wait til they release it then we replace that draft SVG that I uploaded. RainbowSilver2ndBackup (talk) 00:40, 23 March 2019 (UTC)

- Could the table cells (=chemical elements) be made clickable? So cell #1 H links to Hydrogen. There are 118 elements in there.
- Also those column & row numbers have a target article: top row = Group (periodic table) (1–18, Category:Groups (periodic table)); lefthand column = Period (periodic table) (1–7).
- (Or if one can link to a how-to, I could edit it myself). -DePiep (talk) 18:21, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- Discussion
- While it is possible to embed clickable text in an SVG, with some limitations [1], that's not going to help you even if it was feasible to do, because Mediawiki doesn't render SVGs in articles, it generates png images from SVGs and renders them. What you might be able to do is create a template with an actual table (wikitable) formatted to look like the image, and then any text could link wherever you liked. I'm not sure how closely you could make the table 'mirror' the image, and the formatting would be a lot of work, but theoretically it's an option. -- Begoon 06:51, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- @DePiep: If using a wikitable is acceptable, then instead of creating a table from scratch you could make a copy of {{Periodic table}} and replace {{element cell-named}} with your own element cell template. There's also Extension:ImageMap, which apparently allows you to add clickable areas of arbitrary shape to an image. I haven't used ImageMaps before, but adding hundreds of clickable areas seems like it would be more work than modifying one of the existing table templates. TilmannR (talk) 12:35, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
