Yeh Teri Galiyan (These Are Your Streets) is a romantic drama that airs on Zee TV. Produced by Cinevistaas Limited, it premiered on 25 July 2018 and stars Vrushika Mehta and Avinash Mishra.

Plot

The story begins in the city of joy, Kolkata. Arpita, a pregnant woman prays to Goddess Durga for a strong daughter. She also wishes for a friend for her daughter who will protect her and help her through all her struggles. At the same time, Young Shantanu enters the temple and wishes for a friend who he could cherish and protect all his life. Arpita's husband Shubu plans to sell his wife for money. Chanda, a woman from the brothel, convinces Thaku Maa to buy Arpita. Arpita goes into early labour and gives birth to a baby girl. Chanda brings out the newborn to her son Shantanu. Shantanu names her Puchki after his favourite snack 'Puchka'.

5 years later

Shantanu and Puchki become best friends. He protects her and fulfils all her wishes. Puchki is a mischievous girl who is interested in dancing and wearing makeup. Beauty is fed up with Puchki and tries to sell her to foreigners. When Arpita finds out what Beauty is planning to do, she gathers money and tries to run away with Puchki but is unsuccessful. Chanda puts Shantanu up for adoption and he gets adopted by Nivedita Mazumdar. Despite Shantanu's attempts to stay back, he is taken away from Puchki. Puchki and Shantanu miss each other. Arpita starts falling sick, and Puchki is forced to train to become a prostitute. Nivedita gets pregnant with her own child but promises to not let it lessen her love for Shantanu.

3 months later

Arpita dies. Puchki does the last rites of her mother. Pathan Chacha helps Puchki meet Shantanu. Nivedita finds out that Shantanu is Arindhm's illegitimate child with Chanda due to which she distances herself from Shantanu. During this time Shantanu is shown to accidentally push Nivedita off the staircase causing her to fall on her stomach, however, it did not cause a miscarriage. Thaku Maa suffers a heart attack after Beauty blackmails Arindam. Nivedita gives birth to a baby boy who turns out to be disabled with one of his legs as he can not walk straight due to the Shantanu pushing Nivedita off the staircase. Moushmi considers Nivedita's child as the real heir of the Mazumdar family. Nivedita is shown to make Shantanu promise to leave India and never return in which he agrees.

20 years later

Shantanu has returned to India after 20 years to celebrate Hridoy's birthday. On the other hand, Puchki is living her life with a new name and identity. Known as Asmita, she has shifted to Mumbai and works for the police. Destiny brings Shantanu and Puchki face to face but they fail to recognize each other. Hridoy starts falling in love with Asmita. Soon, both of them realise the truth about each other. Hridoy proposes to Asmita for marriage and she agrees to marry him for her secret mission. Shantanu gets engaged to Paromita, while Hridoy and Asmita get engaged. Shantanu gets drunk and confesses his love to Asmita, shocking her. Through a series of events, Shantanu and Asmita end up getting married. It is shown that Paro is pregnant with shaan's baby to which puchki disagree, whole Mazumdar family believes Asmita to be ridoys wife but Shaan and Asmita accept themselves as husband and wife with Dadi bua's support. Asmita finds out that Paro is pregnant with her boyfriend's baby but Paro pleads to Asmita to keep it as a secret for the time being. Asmita with the help of a criminal lawyer proves Shantanu innocent in front of the court.On the day of Kali Puja Nividita find out that Asmita is Puchki meanwhile It is revealed to Shan that he is not Paro's baby's father. Shan agrees to marry puchki in front of everyone. Nivi blackmails Shaan into throwing out Asmita from the house and reveals to everyone that she is puck. Asmita goes from Kolkata to Mumbai but she loses her job. Shaan realises his folly and go to Asmita and apologize meanwhile hridoy wants Asmita in the house. At last Ravindra and Nividita agree unwilling. Chanda ma who fumes in anger against Nivedita plot to kill her but Shantanu and Asmita arrives at the Cliff and he tries to stop the fight when Chanda falls from there and die. But actually Nivedita with a pin during the fight which leads Chanda to death. Asmita believes Shan murder Chanda and decide to revenge him by marrying hridoy meanwhile Shantanu in front of everyone confess that ashmita is his wife to which the family refuses. Shaan reaches and stop the wedding by saying that he and Asmita is legally married. But she publicity chooses hridoy over Shan. Asmita and hridoy go for honeymoon he arrived there as he knows Asmita would be insecure with hridoy. when Asmita stops hridoy from touching her he tries to rape her but Shan arrives in the nick of time and saves Asmita but ridoy fall from the building. However, Ridoy's mental state is like a 10-year old child, so Asmita vows to stay be Ridoy until he gets better.

2 months later

Ridoy is getting better but still is as a kid, Shan realizes that ridoy was faking it all to separate them. When Shan tells this to Asmita she doesn't believe him. Shan realizes that he has to prove this by making Ridoy himself come out with the truth. He tries but is shown to be unsuccessful. Asmita gets a call that her suspension as a police officer is cancelled and she now is located in the Kolkata police force, she decides to tell Shan about it. Beauty and her Husband who is Shan's uncle is shown, to be bad. His uncle who once was trying to get Amsita and Shan together now wants to separate them. Beauty and he plan to destroy the Mazumdar family starting with Asmita and Shan's love story, by killing Ridoy and putting the blame on Shan. Shaan takes Ridoy to a cliff to force him to admit the truth but in an accident, Ridoy falls off the cliff and dies. Shan gets arrested by Asmita and Asmita and everyone else believes that Shan is ridoy's murderer.

1 year later

Shan spent 1 year in jail and has finally come out. He was doing business (smuggling) in jail and is a very rich businessman filled with revenge on Asmita as she didn't accept Shan's confession about ridoy's accidental death. Shan and Asmita come face to face and he expresses his hatred to her. Asmita found out that a girl in sonagachi was pregnant with ridoy's child but died after giving birth to the baby. Asmita arrives at the Majumdar mansion and claims that it is hers and ridoy's baby so that they may accept the baby girl. Everyone including Shaan considers that it is Asmita's baby. The Mazumdar Mansion is auctioned off but Shan arrives and buy it and also allows them to live in the house. Later Shaan names the baby as Moni. Asmita learns the truth that Shaan is innocent and ridoy was faking that he was mental. Unaware to all, ridoy is alive but comatose and Nivedita is secretly getting him treatment. At shaan's cousins wedding ceremonies and functions Asmita and Shaan get closer and fall in love again and decide to get married. Nivedita cannot tolerate this and hits Shan over the head.

Shan's memory loss

He loses his memory and doesn't remember that Asmita is Puchki. The doctor says that Shaan cannot take any stress. Nevi takes ridoy to Japan for treatment but before going hatches a plan with Thakuma to keep Shaan and Asmita separate. Thakuma arrives with Nandini. Nandini had a crush on Shaan when she saw him in London . She tells everyone that Nandini is puchki. She threatens Asmita that she will tell everyone the truth about Moni having a sonagachi mother so Asmita admits in front of everyone that she is not puchki. Thaku Ma wants to take revenge from Shaan and Asmita because they forgot about her and Nandini's parents saved her life. Shaan feels himself getting attracted to Asmita. He doesn't want to do anything about his attraction since he believes Asmita is Ridoy's wife and Ridoy is alive. Thaku Ma wants fake puchki and Shaan to get married and everyone agrees. In the meantime, Shaan admits to Dadi Bua that he feels for Asmita and she tells him that ridoy is dead. Shaan is very disturbed and his car gets into an accident. Asmita who was following him finds him and then both Asmita and Shaan get stranded in a forest. At Shan's and Nandini's engagement he releases his feelings for Asmita but before confessing thaku ma creates a scene due to which Shan announced he will marry puchki (Nandini). Shan who loves Asmita proposes her and do the marriage rituals but nivi comes with ridoy and stops the wedding and humiliate Asmita. Shan marry Nandini under the pressure of the family. Ridoy supports Asmita and helps her to regain Shan's memory. Shan accepts Asmita as puchki and shows Nandini true intentions. Later he goes from the house with Asmita and marries her and arrests Nandini for her deeds. Nandini is released out from jail. Asmita is pregnant with Shan's baby. Nandini creates rift between Shan and Asmita by making them believe that their baby is dead. Their daughter Krishi is alive unknown to all.
