Siddhant Chaturvedi (born 29 April 1993)[1] is an Indian actor. He made his acting debut in a Prime Video web series Inside Edge in 2017 and ventured into Hindi films with a supporting role in the musical drama Gully Boy (2019).
Early life
Chaturvedi was born in Ballia (U.P) ,He completed his schooling from Gokuldham High School. He graduated from bhargav institute of management. He is pursuing his CA finals (quoted by himself in newcomers roundtable with Rajeev Masand) .[2]
Career
He gained recognition[3][4][5][6] for his Bollywood debut alongside Ranveer Singh in the critically acclaimed film Gully Boy , directed by Zoya Akhtar[7] where he plays the character of a street rapper named M.C. Sher.[8] His other work includes starring in a television youth sitcom Life Sahi Hai (by Luv Ranjan), followed by the web series "Inside Edge". This Amazon series was nominated for Best Drama series at the International Emmy Awards. He has also featured in a series of TV commercials, including an international advertisement campaign for Coca-Cola. He is also currently endorsing Tata Harrier. He has won Bombay Clean and Clear Fresh Face 2012-2013.[9][10]
The Gully Boy fame actor will be seen in Shakun Batra's next movie for which he will be working with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. [11]. In addition to this, there have been reports that Siddhant has also joined Saif Ali Khan and Ananya Panday for Rahul Dholakhia's next movie. [12] he is also has doing reality shows with other star kids
