Hi Sulfurboy, Hope you are fine. Thanks for checking this fast. Just answering your comment that you left below in the article.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Arada_(2018_film)

Yes, there are dozens of reviews from notable critics about this Turkish film.

In the article, I try to Cite information from; i-D Vice Magazine , Office Magazine (Which one of the leading fashion magazine in New York), Lindsay Magazine http://lindsaymagazine.co/ (Australian Publishing Company written from Harvard Phd writer) news from CNN Turkey , Sözcü Newspaper (Which is the biggest newspaper in Turkey), Please Kill Me is one of the most important respected punk community website (http://pleasekillme.com/) It's a punk community website from New York.

Here are some other critics from very notable writers and newspapers of Turkey. Would you want me to put them into the article? Here some others;

Hurriyet (The biggest newspaper in Turkey (New York Times like) https://www.hurriyet.com.tr/yazarlar/ugur-vardan/sessizlik-lutfen-40804158 Art Unlimited (One of the most respected art critics paper in Turkey) https://www.unlimitedrag.com/post/bir-cigligin-tezahurleri Sözcü (Cinema critic at one of the most read newspaper) https://www.sozcu.com.tr/2018/yazarlar/burak-goral/sessiz-kalmak-yetmiyor-bazen-2348193/ Milliyet (Here is another important newspapers critics) https://www.milliyet.com.tr/cadde/gulay-afsar/arada-kalmak-2651670

Maybe, you didnt saw these at notable, because I added them as website? Is that might be the reason, why you asked? Should I change the categorise of the cite's so that it will make more sense.

Also the full list of the film critics is here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7365166/externalreviews?ref_=tt_ov_rt — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andreasfromparis (talkcontribs) 06:51, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Subject: rejection of article The Rebecca Notebook and Other Memories.

Can you give me some meaningful feedback or tell me what you want as opposed to sending a generic rejection message. I put in considerable effort to provide as many independent references as I could find which were meaningful to the article. I have seen articles published on Wikipedia which provide far less references. You need go no further than look at some of the articles on Daphne du Maurier's other novels on Wikipedia. Of importance to me and this is what I use Wikipedia for is not what someone says about the novel or a rough idea of what the novel is about but in this case, I wanted to know exactly what short stories are included in this particular book because many of these short stories were published in other books. The easiest way to get this information is from Wikipedia. This information is lacking in some cases with the Daphne du Maurier articles on Wikipedia.

Thanks.

Jenks.in.rehoboth (talk) 15:02, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Jenks.in.rehoboth, I would recommend reviewing the guidelines clearly set out in that boiler plate message. All you did in your most recent work to the page was post a paid for review from a book PR company. That is not secondary nor reliable. This article still fully fails WP:GNG and WP:NBOOK Sulfurboy (talk) 15:08, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Babylon (2021 film)

Hello. I returned Babylon (2021 film) to the draftspace, as it doesn't meet the requirements of WP:NFF. Filming has to have begun before it can be moved. I'm not sure why it was put up for AFC. Rusted AutoParts 17:04, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Rusted AutoParts, Thank you for this. I had completely forgotten about that policy. Cheers Sulfurboy (talk) 17:06, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Equine_Info_Exchange

Thank you so much for your prompt review. I see you're from Denton Texas! I went to school there, cool. This is my first time submitting to Wikipedia and I so appreciate your direction. I reviewed the guidelines you suggested and hope that I made the correct edits in order to accommodate Wikipedia's standards and guidelines. Thank you again for your review and consideration. If there are specific parts of my submission which need to be changed, I will make those changes immediately. Help me understand the next steps. When I hit the "Resubmit" button does that mean you personally will review my submission again or is it possible that another person will do the next review? Please advise. Kgeary007 (talk) 16:44, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Kgeary007, By hitting resubmit, it goes back into the review pool for any reviewer to pick up. Sulfurboy (talk) 16:59, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Alright then, I hit re-submit. If you're curious take a look. Thanks again for your time. Kgeary007 (talk) 17:13, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Subject: rejection of an article and unfounded accusation of a duplication of existing article in mainspace

Could you be clearer and let me know to which article you're referring to as duplicated?

Poland_and_the_euro Sulfurboy (talk) 17:00, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Then there must a mistake because I wrote in comments that this is a draft concerning modification of an existing article Poland and the euro. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kamilaannasw (talkcontribs) 17:10, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Kamilaannasw, If you want to propose modifications to an existing article then it needs to be discussed on the mainspace article and it shouldn't be a draft that is submitted via AfC. Sulfurboy (talk) 17:13, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

ok, thank you for your response — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kamilaannasw (talkcontribs) 17:17, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Jason Dunn

Hi, thanks for the review of: Jason Dunn biography draft. He's the main subject of The Guardian article, and the Nat Geo YouTube video is a well-produced profile published by a respected publication (although I understand if this could be classified as an interview). In all the resources he's notable for his comments on space industrialisation, so I'd argue he is or close to a leading expert in a new field. I'd also argue he's no more or less notable than Aaron Kemmer. NuvaTelcon (talk) 18:55, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your feedback - I fixed some of the language where you asked for clarity. I hope that works, thank you! Jcollinsycc (talk) 17:26, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

One more question- I noted on my userpage and in the edit summary that I am paid for writing this article. Do you know if that is enough to remove the Undisclosed Payments disclaimer from the page? Thanks! Jcollinsycc (talk) 18:09, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Jcollinsycc, It needs to go on the talk page as well I believe. I will post a general note on your talk page that should have all the links on how to properly disclose. Sulfurboy (talk) 18:16, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Please help, how can I improve article: Concurnas?

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review my article on Concurnas. I would like to improve the quality of the article. Please may I know how many additional sources/citations should be provided? Also if some of the current sources/citations do not meet the general notability guideline please may I know which ones such that I can supplement them with more appropriate sources? Thanks! Jtatton (talk) 12:22, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Jtatton, We need to see independent coverage of the language by secondary, independent media sources. Sulfurboy (talk) 23:42, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulfurboy, Hi, thanks for getting back to me, there are 4 non concurnas.com references in the article (Help:Your_first_article states that a minimum of 3 are required): news.efinancialcareers.com, jaxenter.com, waterstechnology.com, infoworld.com. Which of these 4 do not qualify as independent media sources? I will supplement the offending items with more appropriate references. Thanks! Jtatton (talk) 00:24, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulfurboy, Hi, I think I need a bit more help to improve this article. I was able to find another reference in a printed magazine (they also have a website): https://www.programmez.com/. I will keep on researching and hopefully by next review it will be up to the standard required. Jtatton (talk) 00:00, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Rafael Almanza Alonso

Thank you for your answer about references in other languages (see bellow). According to WP:RS, could you please advise if the below references are not “reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy” in compliance with Wikipedia guidelines? Are six secondary sources not enough? Once again, I appreciate very much your help.

“Completed dissertations or theses written as part of the requirements for a doctorate, and which are publicly available (most via interlibrary loan or from Proquest), can be used but care should be exercised, as they are often, in part, primary sources. Some of them will have gone through a process of academic peer reviewing, of varying levels of rigor, but some will not. If possible, use theses that have been cited in the literature; supervised by recognized specialists in the field; or reviewed by third parties.”

Hello, thanks you for your comments. Could you please advise if the below references are in compliance with Wikipedia guidelines? Are Spanish language references acceptable? Vincent Ducrot, draft

Dear Sulfurboy,

I hope you're doing fine in this difficult time. I come back to you for my draft about Vincent Ducrot. You wrote: "but all claims in the article either need inline citations or need to be removed" - or, I put inline citations to the claims. What have I done wrong - can't figure it out? Can you please show me an example of right and wrong?

Thanks in advance, and take care Best regards from Switzerland

--ElleW26 (talk) 11:55, 26 March 2020 (UTC)ElleW26

Hi - thanks for reviewing my submission. I'd be grateful if you could provide further guidance.

You have declined the draft on the basis that the page reads 'more like an advertisement'. However, while drafting I referred to a number of published articles on companies and mirrored the structure and grammar style. Could you please advise what in particular reads like an advertisement as I tried to write neutrally and factually.

I have taken on board the need to add additional citations which I will add.

Thanks.

If you truly feel lines like: "Since inception, Escapology. has sought to distinguish itself through design. The company does not have in-house designers; instead following a model of curation of the best designs from around the world. Through the quality of its designs and the focus on serving, not selling, its customers the company is seeking to make it exciting for people to shop for their home again." do not sound like an advertisemnet, then it is very likely you might have a WP:COI that is preventing you from approaching the subject neutrally. Declining again my article

Good Evening. You are doing an excellent job. I submitted my article on 26/02/2020 which was rejected saying that it appears to be a copy of the same submission. Being new to Wikipedia, it could happen to me. Then my article was rejected again on 15th March, reason being that it is a copy of the article submitted earlier and that the previous article will be reviewed not this one.

Then again there is a message of 2 days ago that my article has been declined as it is against the policy of Wikipedia. I am sending you the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Stefanvihar/sandbox

Kindly confirm it has been rejected finally or the earlier article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Prabhakar_Singh is still to be reviewed. Thanks and please stay safe from CoronaStefanvihar (talk) 13:03, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Stefanvihar, The draft one is still to be reviewed. You cannot have two submissions of the same article at the same time which is why the sandbox one was rejected. Sulfurboy (talk) 13:30, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Carlo Masi Draft

Hallo, I saw you declined the bio I am writing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Carlo_Masi because "is not adequately supported by reliable sources". I am pretty new as a writer and I am confused, the sources I mention include CNN, NewYork Post and mostly reliable news papers from all around the world. The only sources I would consider arguable are some about his porn career but being a porn career you can not expect the financial times to speak about it, the sources in that section are reliable in the world of porn. Could you please help me to improve the sources and make it suitable for wikipedia? Thank you.

Ps the page I am creating is very similar to it's Spanish version https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_Masi with about the same sources. There are wikipedia pages of Carlo Masi in other languages that I can not read but the sources are always more or less the same --AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 12:24, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

AlejandroLeloirRey, IMDB, Wikipedia, blog sites, etc, are not considered reliable. I recommend reviewing WP:RS and then go over your sources and remove the problematic ones.
Cheers Sulfurboy (talk) 13:29, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulfurboy thank you for your advise, I will read it and try to change those sources that might be considered unreliable, I don't think I cited any IMDB, Wikipedia or blog sites but I will go through the sources again as soon as I have read what you suggested. After I did the changes what should I do? should I submit it for review again? thank you --AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 14:16, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulfurboy Hi, I am sorry to bother you so much but i am puzzled, I am reading other porn stars bios to have an idea of the type of sources I should use and I only find pages like this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zak_Spears with only 1 source. I am going through the sources I used and I spotted a few I could change but the most of them are very reliable like national news papers (CNN, New York Post, Messaggero, Repubblica, Il Giornale, Bild, etc) and for it's academic info I referred to his page on the web site of the University of Rome La Sapienza, which is one of the most important university in that country. It would help if you could be more specific about which are the sources I should change (like their number in the list). thank you, thank you, thank you --AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 14:16, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
AlejandroLeloirRey, I'm not going to do a line by line analysis of all of your sources. That's your job WP:BUILDER. I've already pointed out some examples and where to get more information. WP:RS. I'm not sure why you're bringing up other pages, if you have issue with that page, feel free to put whatever applicable maintenance tags you feel belong on it. Sulfurboy (talk) 14:52, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulfurboy I am sorry I brought up other pages, I am learning an I thought that looking at a few examples is a good way to determine what is suitable for wikipedia and what is not. I will do my best to check every single voice. Thank you. AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 14:16, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulfurboy I just finished double checking the sources and I believe (hope) I did a better job. If you have more advise I will be keen to follow them AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 14:16, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi Sulfurboy. Thank you very much for reviewing the draft for the Draft:MGP_Live page. In your response you indicated that that the article's citations did not show significant coverage (just passing mentions) about the subject.

I added a published citation (this article) which discusses solely the work of Massimo Gallotta through MGP Live. The Financial Times article specifically identifies MGP Live as one of the key players in the "Live Video Game Music" phenomenon. Additionally, The Daily Star article cited in the draft is focused on the unique production (Assassin's Creed Symphony) of MGP Live and includes 6 paragraphs that specifically discuss MGP Live/Massimo Gallotta. While some of the other articles that I cited don't include repeated paragraphs of references to "MGP Live" or "Massimo Gallotta," the articles all specifically discuss the unique contributions and work that MGP Live has produced. These citations include two New York Times articles ("The Maestro of Spaghetti Westerns" "Labelle Trio Returns") and more. Would this be enough to qualify for significant coverage?

I would appreciate any feedback or insight you can offer. Thank you very much for your time! Sunstone23 (talk) 04:16, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Sunstone23, MGP is not the primary subject in any of those articles. I would recommend reading up on the policies that have been pointed out to you already. Also, please be careful of multiple consecutive edits on a talk page. Each edit done by someone pings me and emails me. Which means for this one comment I got seven pings and seven emails. Sulfurboy (talk) 04:29, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi Sulfurboy. Thanks for your response. I had no idea that I was pinging your email every time I made an edit, I'm very sorry! Because of my conflict of interest (I'm a friend of Massimo Gallotta), if I was to propose an article about Massimo Gallotta (founder of MGP Live and the subject of the iItaly Magazine article), do you think that article plus the references from the Draft:MGP_Live would be substantial enough to show significant coverage? Let me know what your thoughts are, and thank you again for the help!Sunstone23 (talk) 03:25, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Sunstone23, I would highly recommend not creating an article about your friend at all due to Wikipedia's WP:COI policy. If the person is truly notable an article about them will be created sooner or later. Sulfurboy (talk) 03:28, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Declined Submission

Hi. You recently declined a submission of mine I created a few months back: Draft:Lego Creator Expert. I was wondering if you could elaborate more on "Way too much reliance on unreliable sources such as youtube." I was wondering if you could give more examples, as the way I used youtube was definitely not reliant (3 citations) and the way I used it was definitely in accordance with wikipedia guidelines, as I made sure to only use sources from official company (ex: (the only one I used) Lego). I was wondering if you could give more insight. Thanks!

So what's troubling here is how many of the sources are either Lego or Lego fan sites. Ideally, we would see secondary coverage of the subject independent of the brand or the brand's fansites, if that makes sense. Also, while YouTube can be used, a more reliable, secondary source is highly preferable. Sulfurboy (talk) 03:31, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Sulferboy:

Thank you for your comments. A few questions:

1. Are you objecting to the use of IMDb and Facebook as references, or are you questioning that the person so referenced has not performed in these roles as described in this article?

(Please note that there are hundreds of photos and articles about her already on the web, including reviews of her work by the New York Times, including photos of her in this show published the NYT). Further support include listings by Playbill (a Broadway publishing entity) of her performances. The Facebook reference points to a page managed by the theatrical organization itself - and supports the statement that the show she was in was oversubscribed.

2. If I deleted both IMDb and Facebook references, would the supporting referenced articles from Playbill, the New York Times, CBS Entertainment (and other publications) be sufficient reference?

3. There are over 20 in-line references already integrated. I am confused by the statement that in-line references have not been utilized in this article.

Thanks for your help - and please advise.

PackardTwin8 (talk) 22:05, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

PackardTwin8, IMDB is considered unreliable as it can be self-published/reported. Facebook for the same reason. I don't like playing the if/then game when it comes to adjustments to sources. If you feel that the article has improved enough for another review then I would recommend resubmitting it. Sulfurboy (talk) 03:33, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Nacsport Article

Hi Sulfurboy,

I'm writing to you in regard to an article I've been trying to submit for the last few days on wikipedia, namely this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Nacsport

From what I understand, the article has been rejected a couple of times because of the references not being important enough. But there are some references in there that from some pretty major spanish newspapers.

This one, for example:

https://elpais.com/diario/2006/06/08/ciberpais/1149734131_850215.html

Or this one:

https://www.laprovincia.es/deportes/2018/10/01/sebadal-anfield/1102644.html

I've also found references from sporting associations like the Canadian Basketball federation and the Spanish Hockey federation which I presumed would be seen as reliable sources. So I was wondering if it's because the majority of sources are in Spanish? If you could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I've learned a lot from doing this article and all your input so far, so for that I thank you. I'm trying to learn something new at this time of global inactivity and never knew creating a wikipedia article was so difficult!

Thanks in advance,

hey, thanks for accepting my article but i just noticed an error in the name, is it possible to change it, or not? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ferry111 (talkcontribs) 17:22, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

@Sulfurboy: recently you stated that this draft article has 'too many unreliable sources'. Which of the sources on this page are unreliable? I cannot identify the ones that you are referring to. Cheers, m8!--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 19:41, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

(by talk reader) @DisneyMetalhead: Blogs and IMDb are automatically disallowed per WP:SPS. Our noticeboard about reliable sources shows discussions like this, this, and this that question how reliable some parts of these websites are. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:49, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
@Chris troutman: the only time I used IMDb, was to show the audience reception to each film. The other sources are not blogs, as far as I'm aware. --DisneyMetalhead (talk) 22:09, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
DisneyMetalhead, One of the sources is literally a blogspot page Sulfurboy (talk) 22:59, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
@Sulfurboy: can you identify the reference? I have scanned over the coding and do not see a reference that is a blog.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 00:26, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
DisneyMetalhead, Reference 15. If you weren't able to spot that blatant of a blog source, might I recommend reviewing all sources with a fine tooth comb. Sulfurboy (talk) 00:28, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

@Sulfurboy: Thank you for your help. That source was not supposed to go on the page, and was completely in error. I too am amazed I didn't spot it in reviewing the sources. I have now re-submitted the article. Thanks again!--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 18:36, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Clean Up

I was trying to clean it up, and found that you had cleaned it up first. In this case, I was figuring out how to override my own rejection of the draft and to accept the draft without reviewing it, because the originator requested that. So now it is in article space. We will see if anyone AFDs it. Maybe gallons of electronic ink may flow through the AFD. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:03, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Robert McClenon, Yeah it's teetering there for sure. I think the page creator is still struggling with the WP:SIGCOV requirement for songs, but they are putting in good faith efforts and seeking help. They previously had a song that went through AfD and in the process other editors found proper sources. I imagine that would happen here as well if it were nominated. Sulfurboy (talk) 05:10, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
What we have is an editor who is very enthusiastic and who has their own idea of notability, which in their case seems to be that songs are almost always notable. As you said, they are acting in good faith and are looking for help, and can be persistent. In this case, I thought that the easiest thing to do was to let them request to accept it. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:16, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
There is a myth that some editors have that adding more references is what will get a draft accepted. References are a necessary but not sufficient condition. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:16, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Need verification from you please

Dear Sulfurboy

I submitted an article for review early this afternoon (my time in NZ) on the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:The_Albrechts_of_Rothenburg_ob_der_Tauber_(1493-1806) Your rejection was returned within a matter of minutes which I found quite unusual, given the warning about having to wait up to 3 months, so I am forced to ask if the article has actually been looked at or merely passed through some kind of filtering software?

Many thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrThommo (talkcontribs) 01:59, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

All articles are manually reviewed by humans, there is no "filtering software". Majority of articles are reviewed quite quickly. Some articles take months for a variety of reasons. This article completely fails to keep neutrality. The very first sentence is enough to show that. Wikipedia does not express opinions or take sides or use weasel or peacock terms. Wikipedia is a neutral hub for reporting on notable topics. Sulfurboy (talk) 02:02, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Ah, I see. The terminology employed in that first sentence is fully justified as the article unfolds (as with many academic articles) but I take your point and will amend accordingly. While I'm at it, and if you'd be kind enough, I'd be grateful for a quick understanding of why my references (which come from a variety of established sources) have also been criticised.

Thank you again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrThommo (talkcontribs) 02:13, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Hey! I had submitted this article for approval Draft:Hamdard_Public_School,_New_Delhi.
You declined it within seconds, I had added all necessary references. Please check once. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mishraanoopam98 (talkcontribs) 07:31, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Mishraanoopam98, Article is riddled with unreliable sources and notability is not shown. Sulfurboy (talk) 07:33, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

@Sulfurboy: Thanks for your response. Are you talking about the LinkedIn references?

Linkdin, youtube and imdb are all considered unreliable. Sulfurboy (talk) 07:41, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

@Sulfurboy: I have considered your suggestions, updated the references by news article and official documents.

Which template

Hello! Which template did you use for the Smusma2 COI warning? I have never been able to find it in twinkle, as the templates are not clearly named. Thanks.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 07:51, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

ThatMontrealIP, It's uw-paid2, it's under the Promotions and Spam heading or you can just search 'paid' in Twinkle. Sulfurboy (talk) 07:54, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks! It gets the point across very clearly.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 07:55, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
ThatMontrealIP, Yeah, I'll typically use the single issue notice for COI first as I think it encompasses a lot more and then when they don't respond before editing again, I'll do the uw-paid2-4 Sulfurboy (talk) 07:57, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

I accepted this. Consensus at AfD has almost always been that flag officers are notable . Whether or not you or I would agree is irrelevant. DGG ( talk ) 04:49, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

DGG, Sheesh, that has to be tens of thousands of people by now across various countries and time. Sulfurboy (talk) 08:06, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Rose Dodd

Sulfurboy

In reponse to your comment on the Rose Dodd draft page - I have no idea where you got that I am being paid... I've been asked... but that's not the same thing by any means. There is nothing in here that isn't factually accurate - all backed up by external links to publishers. There is a comment about linking to a wordpress site - I can understand that but the Centre for Research in New Music is part of an academic institution and the reviewer had clearly not looked. It's an early post from this https://research.hud.ac.uk/institutes-centres/cerenem/ before it became amalgamted officially into the University where she was a research fellow and I still lecture. Please let me know if there is anything more i can do. If not I presume my time has been wasted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smusma2 (talkcontribs) 08:39, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Smusma2, If you've been asked, then we need to know your connection to the subject and it needs to be properly disclosed as explained to you multiple times and my talk page is not the place to do it. Sulfurboy (talk) 08:43, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

Suppressing redirects on moving drafts

I see that you moved the page User:Veni V/sandbox to Draft:Emcy Joseph, without creating a redirect. As you can see at Wikipedia:Redirect, when a page is moved the redirect should normally be created unless there is a specific good reason why such a redirect would be inappropriate. In the case of moving a userspace draft to draft space, since such moves almost always apply (as in this case) to pages created by new editors, who may not know their way around the various namespaces, the redirect serves the useful purpose of helping them to find the moved page. I know that you left a message on the user talk page explaining where you had moved the page to, but I have known new editors try to go to the page they created without first checking messages on their talk page, leading to bewilderment. Even if that is an unusual problem (which it may or may not be), it certainly can happen, and since at the very worst the redirect does no harm, the redirect should not normally be suppressed. JBW (talk) 21:00, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

JBW, Good to know. I'll make sure to leave redirects from now on. Cheers Sulfurboy (talk) 21:03, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

re: Tessier deletion

"Deletion nominations rarely improve articles, and deletion should not be used as a way to improve an article." If you can't find articles about Tessier it's because you haven't looked in order to improve the page first. Try Lexis/Nexis. The LA Times, Claremont Courier and Inland Valley Daily Bulletin all have numerous articles and quotes from him regarding the city of Pomona, the largest in LA county. He is the single most quoted and respected authority in the area. If all the LA County newspapers treat him as a regular source and authority for comment on the area, he's clearly notable. LA TIMES San Gabriel edition COVERY STORY: "Downtown Visionary". He has higher recognition and accolades than any other public figure in the area. www.latimes.com › archives › la-xpm-1995-01-26-ga-24587-story www.latimes.com › archives › la-xpm-1995-02-05-me-28374-story https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1989-10-29-we-73-story.html www.claremont-courier.com › articles › news › t28977-cap https://www.dailybulletin.com/2017/09/23/settlement-agreement-will-lead-to-public-improvements-benefiting-pomonas-disabled-residents/ https://www.dailybulletin.com/2018/08/05/downtown-pomona-business-owners-denounce-initiative-that-could-allow-marijuana-shops-in-the-historic-core/ www.claremont-courier.com › articles › news › t25139-house https://www.dailybulletin.com/2020/02/16/vacant-since-1990s-pomona-building-shows-stubborn-problem/ https://www.dailybulletin.com/2019/04/30/heres-how-claremont-might-re-develop-the-area-south-of-the-village/ https://www.dailybulletin.com/2019/08/09/25-years-ago-pomona-turned-to-the-arts-to-save-downtown/ http://www.insidesocal.com/davidallen/2019/08/16/column-ghost-town-pomonas-arts-colony/ https://www.dailybulletin.com/2018/07/19/a-vote-of-confidence-in-downtown-pomona-as-business-district-is-renewed/ https://www.dailybulletin.com/2019/10/10/street-vending-will-soon-be-legal-in-pomona-a-year-after-the-city-banned-such-sales/ Tessier is a public success in his locality over decades and is duly noted in local press because of it. Tessier has served or now serves as a Board Trustee for Western University of Health Sciences (the largest employer in Pomona), president of Pomona’s Central Business District Association, Chair of the City of Pomona Planning Commission, and is a member of the Pomona Leadership Forum, the LA County Fair Directors Association, the Pomona Community Foundation, and is the founding and current president of the School of Arts and Enterprise in Pomona.
