The Sims Stories is an upcoming computer game from The Sims series, optimised for play on laptops, although they can still be played on desktops.

Features

Because the Sims Stories series of games are intended to run on laptops, they do not require a video card and the game's controls have been designed specifically for the laptop with an auto-pause function where users can suspend the games when the lid of the laptop is opened or closed. The games are also designed to run on a separate window while the user is performing other tasks on the laptop, such as instant messaging.

The Sims Stories provides two gameplay modes. The first mode is the original Sims series' open-ended mode, where players create Sims and choose how the Sims fulfill their dreams through life's biggest moments. The second mode, dubbed "Story mode," tasks players to take their Sims through storyline-based missions, encountering romance, conflict and storyline twists.

Games

Currently, three Sims Stories games are slated for release: The Sims Life Stories, and it's supposely two expansion packs, although they may be seperate games from the first one. The Sims Pet Stories and The Sims Castaway Stories, all to be released in 2007.
