WP:Teahouse#10 year old hoax?. I suspect this 10 year old article might be a hoax. Google searches don't turn up much and that seems unusual even after considering the obscurity of the topic. TryKid (talk) 18:08, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - the only mention I could find is that this is related to a Mayan legend called Itzamna, not Incan. And the Mayan Itzamna is a god, not a creation myth. Delete. Assuming good faith (unlikely but possible) this isn't a hoax but a garbled misunderstanding of the Izanami and Izanagi creation myth (the Shinto equivalents to Adam and Eve), but that's a Japanese myth with no connection to South America, and we already have (for once, when it comes to a mythology topic) existing halfway-decent articles on the topic with actual sources. ‑ Iridescent 20:22, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
