Notability

My problem with this page is that it doesn't show how the comic book is notable. Has it won any literary awards? Been reviewed by significant book or comic reviewers? Made any genre-specific bestseller lists? There's nothing in the article to show that this isn't just another comic book which is self-published for the author and his friends... if it's notable, there's nothing in the article to show it. -FisherQueen 18:13, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see...it has been an independent book for a while, about two years, and recently we've taken a turn toward bigger distribution. It has recently been picked up by Simon & Schuster, however, and will soon be distributed en masse around the country. If it isn't notable right now, I'm sure that it will be once people start seeing it on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble in February. It has been acclaimed by Stan Lee, but that's because we gave it to him and he came back to us saying good things about it. Not sure how to cite that, but trust me, I would put that on the site if I knew how to reference it. The comics are also being distributed in Germany, as well, while our line of toys is in Japan.
