Request reason:

am I being confused for that other guy? we both live in the same city clearly, and I am not him nor am interested in the articles he edits Swagmaster11139248 (talk) 13:21, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

While there are currently additional checks that need to be run to confirm the master account, per my notes in the "For the record" section below there is little doubt that you are abusing multiple accounts as confirmed by a checkuser at the relevant SPI. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Dear Admin,

I think there's an absolute mistake and misunderstanding which has resulted in me getting blocked from editing. First of all, one thing which I'd like to make clear is that just because me and the other guy share the same Indian city, doesn't mean we're the same person. It is pretty illogical to block a person without considering the probability that there could be more than one from the same territory editing different articles. Second of all, I've never edited those articles which the other person edits, neither do I show interest in them, so this is an obvious mistake from your side. Third of all, if you don't believe me, you can check out the IPs and ISPs, and compare the two because static ISP cannot be changed, also check the IPs I've made my edits with, there are no 12 hour gaps where my IP changes, even if it did change it would be very improbable that I'd change it again and get the same IP several times, because they are randomly assigned, and are also given to other people. Please look into my case!

For the record

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Request reason:

Notes:

 • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
 • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

Your reasoning has many flaws in it, First you claim I have some "technical knowledge" aka basic computer knowledge. Next you admit there is no link between my account and his/her account. yet there is no rules being broken, after all there is no advantage to me using 2 accounts, or me abandoning the actual 2nd account i did have, if i was a "sock". If both these users were just 1 person (allegedly me) then why would I have 2 accounts, when i could just have 1 and make those exact same edits and get my edit count up? Socks are used to push a narrative/consensus, but both of us edit different pages which doesn't make any sense to use "socks" for.

Face it, the fact that you have stated there is no actual link, is more than enough proof we are just two DIFFERENT users from the same city, with DIFFERENT interests"

There was no actual rules being broken with the 2nd account I actually did have (aka RationalPi), although you seem to be mistaking coincidences and regional Indian dialects for two people being the same person (sounds like racism to me)

Can i get the input of an admin who actually bases their evidence on actual facts and not "suspicion" it is impossible for anyone to have the same static IP as me?
