Hi, I'm Naypta

I'm a London-based Wikipedian with a focus on protecting the wiki from vandalism and expanding its contents.

I'm passionate about keeping this place a reliable source of knowledge for all, and I believe one of the most important steps in doing that is making sure contributions follow policy.

I translate a number of articles from Spanish Wikipedia, expanding them and referencing them as appropriate with additional sources where possible.

I run Yapperbot (talk · contribs), the bot that (among other things) powers the Feedback Request Service.

I believe that Wikipedians should be excellent to one another, not just civil.

I'm human, and sometimes I'll get things wrong. If I do, please let me know, and I'll try and make it right!

Dear Naypta;
Thank you so much for your amazingly prompt and effective assistance while you were manning the Help Desk today! Your technical assistance with hiding the {{user septuagenarian}} category was most helpful and is very much appreciated. Thank you also for all your other contributions to our encyclopaedia.
With kind regards;

The Barnstar of Diplomacy
For boldly ignoring all rules in a contentious debate on AfD and closing it per WP:AVALANCHE even if it may not have fit the letter of the law. Putting yourself at risk of incivility/WP:POINTyness by editors angry at a contentious close, especially an early one, and especially as a non-admin, is worth recognizing and commending when it happens. Thank you! Psiĥedelisto (talkcontribs) please always ping! 18:03, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

Naypta, your important, volunteer work, of almost single-handedly fixing a months-long broken FRS is much appreciated by the Community. All the best, History DMZ (talk)+(ping) 22:55, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
