Simeon Toluwani Borokini was born on May 2 into the family of Rt. Reverend & Mrs Simeon Oluwole Borokini in Akure South Local Government of Ondo State[1]. He is a public speaker, Politician and Humanitarian. He is currently a member and whip[2] of the Ondo State House of Assembly[3] representing Akure South Constituency 1.[4]

Early life and Education

He attended Annunciation Nursery & Primary School, Akure and later continued his education at Bishop Falope Memorial Day Care Nursery & Primary School, Akure. Toluwani proceeded to St Mathias Anglican High School, Akure and subsequently, got a Diploma in Computer Data Processing before going to Adeyemi College of Education to Study English Language. He furthered his education at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-ife, Osun State  where he continued and studied English Language

at Masters Level.[5]

Business and personal life

In 2008, Simeon Toluwani Borokini became the Managing Director & Chief Responsibility Officer of Utopian Events, a position he holds till date.[1]

Simeon Borokini is a professional Event Consultant who has gained much experience in events management and coordination in the last 10 years in the event industry. He has worked as assistant supervising manager, hall manager and logistics manager in different organisations. He is currently representing Akure South Constituency 1 at the Ondo State house of assembly.[3]

Political career

He has been involved in various elections directly and indirectly in Ondo State. He won the Ondo State House of Assembly election in 2019 to represent Akure South constituency 1 under the platform of All Progressives Congress[6]. Currently, he serves as the whip of the legislative house. He is also the Chairman, House Committee on Education, Science and Technology. He is also a member of other Committees in the Ninth Assembly.[2]
