Ka Pae Ranasingam (transl. Husband name: Ranasingam)[a] is an 2020 Indian Tamil-language political drama film directed by P. Virumaandi in his directorial debut. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles.[2] The film was scheduled to release theatrically but is now scheduled to release on a pay-per-view platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3]

Production
The film began production with Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role; however, with the addition of Vijay Sethupathi to the cast, the scale of the film increased.[5] Rajesh and Sethupathi play a couple in the film.[6] The film was launched in June of 2019 and shooting was finished by late 2019.[7] The film is a female centric film with Sethupathi's role having a duration of around forty minutes.[8][5] Shooting for the film happened in Ramanathapuram for around forty-five days.[9][5]
Soundtrack
The soundtrack was composed by Ghibran.[10][11]

Release
The film is scheduled to release on 2nd October on Zee Plex a new pay per view platform along with Khaali Peeli.[12][13] The film will also release in drive-in theatres on the same date.[14]
