I am completely bewildered as to what GNIS thinks ever was here. The GNIS entry is sourced to Rennick, but Rennick's Fulton County directory doesn't mention this, and all of the Walnut Groves in Rennick's index are in different counties. Topos show an uninhabited floodplain. The coordinates in the GNIS entry take me to the middle of field in near the Mississippi River, with no sign of human habitation anywhere nearby. Completely spurious. Hog Farm Bacon 17:14, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

- Speedy delete I have no idea as well, I've found previous Kentucky junk that's likewise nowhere to be found in Rennick's directory. If you search his annotated topo maps there may be a label on it, but that's inadequate. Reywas92Talk 05:48, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- I found his annotated topos online. There's a handwritten marking of "Walnut Grove N" in an area with no signs of population on the topo. What "Walnut Grove N" means, I cannot fathom. Hog Farm Bacon 00:20, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- Delete Appears to be just that, a grove of walnut trees. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 00:19, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
