[edit]I'm not that skilled in this, so I just tried to create something basic hoping others will create more. But I don't know how to add citations either, so I hope others can do it (sources like metallica.com and IMDB, etc.)
The bag's content
[edit]There's an unofficial theory that the bag holds Cliff's spirit. The story starts with a car accident (Cliff died in a bus accident), and when the bag finally ends up on stage, Metallica plays Orion, which was Cliff's favorite song and the one they played at his funeral. Do you think it has a place under a new sub-section about the bag's content? GHA (talk) 07:14, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- Um, no. That sort of unsourced trivia and chatter, while of possible interest to Metallica fans, belongs in the band's fan chatrooms, not in an online encyclopaedia. The only justification for adding anything about what may or may not have been in the bag would be if such speculation were heavily reported in the media ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 17:35, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
Hallucination
[edit]"Then, at the end, it is revealed that Trip was hallucinating the whole thing and the concert hadn't started yet, as Metallica was still preparing to go onstage."
I'm removing this, as it never happens. In fact, Trip is pulled out of the audience of the concert to go on his mission at the start of the film.
It's fine to discuss whether or not the events of his story are a hallucination, but this is simply inaccurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.69.183 (talk) 04:32, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- I agree. Further more, the stage manager tells Trip that the band needs the bag for AFTER the show. When Trip arrives the concert is already over. GHA (talk) 10:07, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
Box office figures
[edit]3 sources, 3 different figures giving an unacceptably huge spread. Who can we trust? Currently the lowest figure persists in the article. $9,082,906, $21,196,967 (total WW gross) and $7,972,967. Which is more appropriate to use? Do they use different methodology to calculate their figures? Or do some continue to update periodically? What is the explanation for this huge spread (one being almost 300% the figure used in the article) and which is the most appropriate to use? Rayman60 (talk) 09:19, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
