Ciraquz (Azerbaijani: Çiraquz) or Djrakus (Armenian: Ջրակուս)[nb 1] is a village in the Khojavend District of Azerbaijan.

History

The village had a majority Azerbaijani population prior to the Nagorno-Karabakh war.[1] The village has since been administrated as part of Hadrut Province of the self-declared Republic of Artsakh since 2 October 1992. On 15 October 2020, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijani forces had retaken Ciraquz, during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war.
