On December 6, 2023, a shooting occurred at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The perpetrator opened fire at the Frank and Estella Beam Hall and the Student Union building, causing multiple casualties before dying.[2]

Suspect
A suspect was contained by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department[3] and died.[4]
Aftermath
The College of Southern Nevada closed its campuses.[5] Interstate 15 was closed for first responders.[6]
A ground stop was issued at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas due to a security incident.[7]
