Africa's Out! various programs among them [http://africasout.com/waft WAFT]which was imagined as a vehicle to allow selected Kenyan Artists and Writers the time and the funds to travel to the world’s oldest and most prestigious art exhibition; The Venice Biennale, with its many international pavilions and adjacent art exhibits. The hope is WAFT will annually nominate different groups of dedicated artists and writers, who would travel to contemporary and ancient Art sites and events in Africa, where Art was - and is - created and where it still exists. Africa's Out![4] has funded programming at the Brooklyn Museum, Afropunk Festival, Studio Museum in Harlem and NeueHouse.
In 2016 Africa's Out! supported Shapeshifters and Vogue Ball[5] at the Brooklyn Museum first Saturdays. Presenters at this event were Afripedia,[6] Daapo Reo, Tavia Nyong'o, Teddy Goitom, and Senay Berhe.
