Batakundi or Battakundi (Northern Hindko: بٹہ کنڈی, Urdu: بٹہ کنڈی) is a famous tourist town located near Naran in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in Pakistan.[1] Batakundi is famous for being located on the Kaghan Valley.[2]

Batakundi is located in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is situated on the Karakorum Highway or KKH[3] and is a stop for jeeps. It is the first destination on the road to Babusar Top.[4] It is also en route on the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad-Chilas Road.[5]

People
Most people of Batakundi are Gujjars who are now Hindko speakers.[10]
