"Crazy" is a song recorded by American girl group Dream featuring rapper Loon and P. Diddy. The song was written by Thelma Guyton, Loon, Adonis Shropshire, and Scott Storch, with the song being produced by Storch and Diddy. It was released on June 2, 2003 as the lead single for what was supposed to be her second studio album Reality (2003). The album was delayed and was shelved, not seeing a wide release and was originally only released to the French market. It was the group's final single before they disbanded until they reunited in 2015.

The song was a commercial failure, only entering two Billboard charts: Mainstream Top 40 and Rhythmic, and peaked at the bottom of both charts.

Content

"Crazy" features a guest appearance by rapper Loon. The song was originally titled "Krazy" and featured rapper Eve, but the name was changed to "Crazy". However, the digital version of Reality lists the track under its original title of "Krazy". It was also Dream's only single to feature member Kasey Sheridan.

Music video

The music video took place in a Middle Eastern setting. It showed the girls wearing harem-like costumes and dancing in a very provocative style. According to MTV News, this new "sexed-up" style was not welcomed by the group and was one of the factors that led to their break-up.[1] Matthew Rolston directed the video.
