Kurella Vittalacharya is an eminent Indian educator, poet, and author, particularly known for his significant contributions to Telugu literature. Born in 1938, he faced a challenging childhood but overcame numerous obstacles to pursue his passion for literature and education. [1] [2]

Vittalacharya has a distinguished career as a principal, retired lecturer, and an award-winning writer. He has authored 22 books, including a notable work, Vittaleshwara Satakam, a collection of 100 poems. His literary and educational efforts have been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Distinguished Award and the Dasarathi Award in 2019, which was presented by Vice-President M. One of Vittalacharya’s most significant achievements is the establishment of a public library in his village of Vellanki, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, Telangana.
