Ek Bhram... Sarvagun Sampanna (An Illusion... Accomplished In All Qualities) is an Indian television thriller series that airs on Star Plus and streams on Hotstar. It premiered on 22 April 2019.[1] Produced by Sunny Side Up Films, it stars Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam.[2]
Plot
In the Mittal household, Janhvi is the respected and accomplished daughter-in-law of PK Mittal, who runs for mayor elections and enjoys a high status. Janhvi is loved by everyone and her decisions are always respected. But she has a secret vengeance towards the Mittal family and has intentions to take revenge. Kabir Mittal, Janhvi's brother-in-law, is an army officer who returns home after six years. The family gets shocked on learning about his marriage and consider it a disrespect towards them. In reality, Kabir had gotten married to his best friend Vyom's wife Kavya and adopted their child Aarush in respect of Vyom's last wish before dying.
Through a series of events, Kavya comes to know about Janhvi's intentions. She therefore decides to protect the family.

Reception
Times Now said, “While it’s very clear in the first episode itself how twisted Jhanvi is, makers keep the intrigue alive with her character. While Shrenu keeps the intrigue alive with her antics in the show, Zain’s character, Kabir, also manages to add to all the drama right before the episode ends.”[3]
Bollywood Life said, “Veterans like Ayub Khan and Parikshit Sahani bring out a classy performance and Shrenu Parikh matches them well proving that she knows her craft well. The lavish sets lend to the neat storytelling which takes off from establishing each character for what they are, to showing the central character's relationship with each one of them. Shrenu is fantastic with her transitions in expressions.”[4]
India Today said, “Shrenu Parikh is quite convincing as Jhanvi, who can deceive anyone with her perfect bahu act. Ayub Khan fits well into the role of a strict head of the family. Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna looks promising and will keep the viewers hooked with its interesting twists and turns.”[5]

“I had to push myself to convince that I am going to play a grey character. It’s not totally a negative character. This character was very challenging and I wanted to do something different from the roles I have portrayed previously.”
