Lisa Wilkinson is an Australian television personality. She is a co-host of the Today Show on the Nine Network.

Career

Wilkinson began her career at a young age, working for the magazine Dolly Magazine. At age 21, she was appointed Editor of the magazine. She has worked for another magazine, Cleo, as well.

Her television career began in the late 1990's, when she was a regular panelist on Foxtel's Beauty and the Beast. During the 2000 Olympics, she (along with Duncan Armstrong) co-hosted The Morning Shift on the Seven Network.

In 2005, she began hosting Weekend Sunrise.

On Sunday, 6 May 2007, it was revealed Wilkinson was in talks with Nine Network on hosting Today after Jessica Rowe was sacked from the network.

On 10 May 2007, it was confirmed that Wilkinson was to co-anchor the Today show. Her last appearance on Weekend Sunrise was Sunday 6 May 2007 which was her last time on the Seven Network. Samantha Armytage replaced Wilkinson on Weekend Sunrise. She initiated her hosting duties on Today as of 28 May 2007[1].

Personal life
