Matthew "Matt" W. Davis (born May 8, 1978), known as Matt Davis, is an American actor known for his roles as Alaric Saltzman on The CW series The Vampire Diaries and Adam Hillman on the ABC series What About Brian. He starred on The CW series Cult in 2013.
Early life
Davis was born in Salt Lake City. He attended Woods Cross High School,[1] and the University of Utah.
Career
Davis is also known for having played Warner Huntington III, boyfriend of Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) in the smash hit comedy Legally Blonde (2001) (opposite Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair). Other notable film credits include Blue Crush (2002) (opposite Kate Bosworth and Michelle Rodriguez), Tigerland (2000) (opposite Colin Farrell) and BloodRayne (2005).
